Privacy Policy for Participation in the WDSF (World Dutch Shepherd Federation) World Championship

 

Data Protection/Personal Rights

 

With the registration I agree to the collection, processing (storage, alteration, transmission) and use of my personal data to the following extent:

 

  1. the Hollandse Herder Sportverein e.V. (hereinafter referred to as the host/organiser) collects, processes and uses personal data of the participants in the WDSF World Championships (individual data on personal and factual circumstances) by means of data processing systems (EDP) which are necessary for the organisation, implementation and to ensure the smooth running of a WDSF World Championship.
    These are in particular the following participant data: Name and address, telephone number (landline or mobile), nationality as well as e-mail address, date of birth as well as all data of the participating dogs on the basis of which conclusions can be drawn about the personal data of the participants/owners. 2.

 

  1. As a member of the DVG – German Association of Utility Dog Sports Clubs, the organiser is obliged to report certain personal data to the DVG. The data will be forwarded to the DVG Ennertsweg 51, 58675 Hermer, as well as to the DVG Landesverband Sachsen-Anhalt (e.g. name and age of members, names of board members with function, address, telephone and fax number, e-mail address).

 

  1. The organiser has taken out or will take out insurance policies from which he and/or the participants of the WDSF World Championships can obtain benefits. Insofar as this is necessary for the establishment, implementation or termination of these contracts, the organiser shall transmit personal data of the participants (name, address, date of birth or age, etc). The association shall ensure by contract that the recipient uses the data exclusively in accordance with the purpose of transmission.
  1. In connection with its sports operations and other statutory events, the organiser publishes personal data and photos of the participants in its club newspaper as well as on its homepage and/or other social platforms and transmits data, videos and photos to print and social media for publication.
    This concerns, among other things, test results, video and/or photo recordings of the performances. The publication/transmission of data is limited to the personal data of the participants necessary for the organisation. A participant may at any time revoke his/her consent to the publication of individual photos of him/herself vis-à-vis the Executive Board. Upon receipt of the revocation, the publication/transmission shall cease and the association shall remove existing photos from its homepage.
  1. Within the framework of the Federal Data Protection Act, each participant has the right to information about the personal data stored about him/her, the recipients in the case of data transfer, the purpose of storage and to correction, deletion or blocking of his/her data.

The organiser is only permitted to process or use data in any other way (e.g. for advertising purposes) beyond the fulfilment of its aforementioned tasks and purposes if it is obliged to do so for legal reasons or if it has the consent of the participant. A sale of the data is not permitted.
